Service Description
The Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events – Pit Barrier Operations is a specialist qualification designed for stewards and event staff working in high-energy live environments such as concerts, festivals, sporting events, and large-scale shows. This training provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required to operate safely and effectively in the pit area directly in front of the stage, where crowd pressure is often at its highest. The pit barrier is one of the most critical safety points at any live event, designed to protect both spectators and performers. Staff working in this position must be highly trained to manage intense crowd surges, respond quickly to emergencies, and ensure the safe enjoyment of the audience. Our course prepares learners with the confidence and competence to take on this challenging but rewarding role. What the course covers: The role and responsibilities of pit barrier staff. Health and safety in high-pressure crowd environments. Monitoring spectator behaviour and recognising early signs of distress. Techniques for safely removing individuals from the crowd. Communication and teamwork with other stewards, security, and event management. Emergency procedures, including first aid support and evacuation protocols. Customer service skills to ensure a safe but enjoyable atmosphere.
Cancellation Policy
Completely Licensed Cancellation Policy: Cancellations Made 14 Days or More Before the Course Start Date: If you cancel your course 14 days or more before the scheduled start date, you will receive a full refund minus a 10% administration fee. The refund will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date of cancellation. Cancellations Made 7-13 Days Before the Course Start Date: If you cancel your course 7-13 days before the scheduled start date, you will receive a 50% refund of the total course fee. The refund will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date of cancellation. Cancellations Made Less Than 7 Days Before the Course Start Date: Unfortunately, if you cancel less than 7 days before the course start date, no refund will be provided. We strongly encourage you to notify us as early as possible in order to avoid any unnecessary fees. Non-Attendance Without Notice: If you fail to attend your scheduled course without notifying us beforehand, you will not be eligible for a refund. A new course fee will apply if you wish to reschedule. Rescheduling Policy: Rescheduling 14 Days or More Before the Course Start Date: If you need to reschedule your course 14 days or more in advance, we will accommodate your request at no additional cost, subject to availability. Please contact us at least 14 days before your scheduled course to avoid any rescheduling fees. Rescheduling 7-13 Days Before the Course Start Date: If you need to reschedule your course 7-13 days before the scheduled start date, we will charge a 10% rescheduling fee. The rescheduled course must be taken within 3 months of the original course date. Rescheduling Less Than 7 Days Before the Course Start Date: If you need to reschedule your course less than 7 days before the course start date, we will charge a 20% rescheduling fee. Changes to Course Dates: If Completely Licensed needs to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, technical issues), you will be given the option to reschedule your course at no extra charge, or receive a full refund. No Show Policy: If you do not show up for your scheduled course without prior notice, you will forfeit your course fee and may need to rebook at full price.
